Die PRS SE Hollowbody I Piezo wurde für Spieler entwickelt, die den Klang einer Hollowbody-Gitarre mit der Stabilität einer E-Gitarre suchen. Sie verfügt über eine Ahorn-Decke, einen Mahagoni-Boden und eine vollständig hohle Bauweise mit einem Center-Block-Design, wodurch Spieler satte, offene Klänge geniessen können, ohne dabei auf Sustain oder Rückkopplungskontrolle verzichten zu müssen.

Die 85/15 «S»-Tonabnehmer liefern einen vollen, ausgewogenen Klang, und dank zwei separater Lautstärkeregler für die magnetischen Tonabnehmer und das Piezo-System können Spieler ihren Klang ganz nach Wunsch mischen – von rein elektrisch bis rein akustisch oder einer Vielzahl kreativer Klänge dazwischen.
